I love that you are singing the praises of home-made sauce!

I've tried this recipe and love it. Another good one is Rocco Dispirito's mother's sauce. I found it with her recipe for meatballs, which I make regularly. The home made stuff so much better than the jarred stuff!

Just wanted to tell you that you were the first food blog I ever read and I'm still reading! You are so much fun!

As summer turns to fall in your part of the world, we're moving into spring in mine....but how I would like to be sitting in your kitchen and eating that yummy sauce(if I had been around when you were cooking it, I might have added a liitle bit of lemon zest - nice with the thyme?) ....comfort food is definitely in order at this point....
