I hope that you had a happy Thanksgiving. We did the traditional turkey thing and it all went well. The last time we tried to cook a holiday dinner the oven died. At least this time the appliances cooperated. Today I tried to make fruit cakes. It took about 12 hours, and they will not be ready to eat for at least a week, I so will have to wait to know if they were a disaster or not.
