Kitchen artistry

It’s been said that the kitchen is the soul of the household. Or is it the heart? I can never remember.

Anyway, my kitchen is indeed the heart and soul of my household. And as such, I want to decorate it with images that make me happy. Look at some of the neato stuff I’ve found on the internets:

Hey good lookin' what you got cookin?

This speaks to me...

This from Etsy, my love.

Or this, also from Etsy:

Keep calm and drink beer

My credo of late

I’ve written about Duane Keiser before. He’s an old-school artist with a new school bent. I am in awe of his talents and as a collector I want everything he’s ever done. But I would hang this in my kitchen.

Plum the depths

Then there’s the photographic output of Deb from Smitten Kitchen. She got clever and decided to start selling some of her images because too many people were complaining of the saliva stains on their computer screens. For example: click here and tell me you don’t want to rub your face all over your nice LCD….

Finally, everyone needs a chicken on their refrigerator.

I love Smitten Kitchen’s pics. And she’s so nice about letting people use them!
